I'll reply to this but hmmmmm it's a bit OOB mentality, why cannot anyone just ask a question without someone having a go on this forum? Right basically I can play off my 11.6 well enough, not much over often but on a good day I'll happily play a bit better, thought we could all have good and bad days? thankfully I'm pretty steady and should get down to 9 this season.

+1. I did not see the point in what he wrote. It is obvious to me what you are saying. You are off 12, but have been knocking round to a 9 handicap consistently.

Just practice with half swings where you get the clubhead down to the ball a bit quicker. Your arm swing (the speed you get the arms down your body, ie: club to the ball) has to be sync'ed to your body turn.
