From the Man Utd management team that said at the weekend when Rooney got away with GBH, "You can't dispute the referee's decision"....

I give you Alex Ferguson after the Chelsea game.

"It was incredible. Even before that he [Luiz] had done Chicharito [Javier Hernandez] off the ball," said Ferguson.

"He'd done him late. Nothing done, the referee's in front of it.

"He does Rooney clear as day, [the referee is] six yards from it, he doesn't do anything. That changed the game.

"These are decisions that change the game. And he's going to be refereeing every week."



Adopt the NFL Rules - any criticism of an official is a $50K fine for the first offence. There isn't ever a second one.
 
Managers having a go at the referees is a time-honoured way of deflecting attention from your own team's poor performance.

SAF is a master of this.

I wouldn't take it particularly seriously.
