Toga have been suspended from the AFRICANS CUP OF NATIONS for the next two years for withdrawing from this years tournament is this fair punishment for nearly getting killed?IMO BLOODY MADNESS.

The ruling bodies are a joke. They have no shame.
The "Big Name" players of the other African nations should threaten a boycott in solidarity of Togo. Drogba, Essien etc.

Africa is just a big pot of corrupt politics at all levels. This doesn't really surprise me at all.
Just wait 'til the African governing body try to charge Toga for losses incurred when they declined to play.

Have to agree Africa is a weeping sore on the face of the planet. South Africa is the nearest thing to a democracy on the whole continent and you see the quality of president they've elected since Mandela -Mbeki, Zuma - grim future. 
Totally agree. Its a farce and FIFA should have the balls to stand up to the African Board (yeah like Blatter and Platini have the balls for that) and tell them to reverse it. I have grave fears for the safety of fans and players this summer

The ban is actually for 6 years....2 tournaments...to be honest I can see the point of why the ban has been enforced....the players wanted to play, then the government stepped in - the ban is for 'government interference' not being shot at...
It's a rubbish tournament anyway, so I doubt Togo will miss it....
