Calloway hyper x driver

Has anyone got any feedback on these, was going through my clubs getting ready for a clear out and stumbled across one. 11* regular. I recall being in the right place ag the right time and buying it cheap, but I've never used it. It has the fujikura shaft in regular which I beleive wasn't standard for this club, although I could be wrong I think it shook be the older rch shaft.

More importantly what's it worth

Got one of these for Christmas after trying it out at a local club.

It had good reviews at the time and flew well for me so I grabbed it for around £80. I think it looks great, nice clean lines and I like the Callaway short hosel. Golf Monthly review is here

I think the Fujikura Fit-on was the standard shaft but I have seen them advertised with RCH shafts.

I haven't tried mine on the course so I'd be interested in your thoughts or anyone else's who has one.

They came out about 4 years or so ago from memory but got quickly superceded by something else. Never hit one on the course but it seemed to go well when I tried one in a shop and were good value at about £130 or so

Had a bat with a mate's and it was a strong driver if memory serves. Callaways just don't sit right for me but the results were pretty strong.

Robo did you try a stiff or reg?

It was a reg so did baloon a bit for me but it still went a fair old way. I'm sure it was just the Callaway RCH?? stock shaft that was in it too.

not sure whether to have a slap with it before it goes up for sale or not. My current driver spec is a 9.5* Stiff, sdo seems a bit pointless as i get a fair amount of height with this, effectively meaning a 11* would be pointless, but i am interested in trying the reg as i was more consistent with my old calloway 10.5* GBB2 416

Really think my next driver needs a low launch shaft in it.
