Just a quick nod, in my Asda today they were doing a litre bottle for £12.00 strangely the 70cl bottle was £15.00 go figure but at £12.00 per litre it's a bit of a bargain for Chrimbo or indeed just to stash away.

Bells to be honest is no where near my favourite whisky. Palatable but would always choose a nice Glenlivet.

rather full cellar at the moment, those 'hidden' gems amongst the decs topped it off nicely; Jameson's, Southern, Bacardi, Vodka, Disaronno (where did that come from?). Plus more than a few Drambuie

I beg to differ, I have quite a good nose when it comes to whisky.

I know what I like and Bells is certainly palatable in my opinion.

Bells is Ok...if it's mixed with Coke, lemonade, ginger ale or better still Drambuie :p

Just not on it's own.

I'd recommend Black Bottle as a nice blended whisky.

Chivas do a lot of nice blends as well.

Best mixing Whisky is Johnny Walker Black Label!
