Now that the reviews seem to be out regarding the new XR16 range is anyone considering upgrading that already has the current XR equipment?

I am playing X2Hot at the moment but grudge paying the prices for the newly released gear so I am guessing there will be another price drop on the XR range as soon as XR16 is released at the end of the month.

Looking at the reviews it doesn't look like a huge step forward from XR but I suppose it never is most of the time

As with most new stuff it's hyped until the next release. Personally you're probably still getting a great result from those X2Hots and yes for us bargain hunters the 2015 stuff will be cheaper!

It's more the fairways I am interested in as I am very happy with my X2Hot driver aswell but if there is no noticeable improvement over the current XR range I am hoping they will drop below £100 from the £129 they appear to be available for at the moment

I'm a year and a half into my golf and honestly sick of the constant release of new gear which is pretty much the same. There must be some that just constantly upgrade but I think I'll have mine for 4-5 years before I decide new bats

I found this quite amusing

It's one of the things I like about Crossfield. He can be so annoying sometimes but in terms of equipment he has a backbone and doesn't care about what the manufacturers think of his honest opinion.

I'm not saying the others are getting backhanders but they are very friendly when it comes to new equipment and seems like they kinda try and sell it.

I see he has a new video up where he is saying he has actually bagged the XR16 pro driver

Ironically there is a bit of an internet spat now going on between Crossfield and Shiels as Shiels said that all the online reviews of the PGX clubs are essentially paid adverts by PGX. As they would not send him any to review. But Crossfield has reviewed them and has taken internet umbrage over this statement.

Plus I was impressed how he called all his shots there or there abouts before the man looking at the launch monitor confirmed what he said.
