Trouble is I've already got a G10 that I can hit 270+ in a reasonably straight line and I havn't got £300 to go out and get this - no matter how much straighter/longer it is. I'm past the point of needing an extra 6 yards. They can't keep on telling us that we're going to hit it further coz in 5 years time we'll all hit it 400 yards!!??
And no matter how straight its supposed to be, if you put a rubbish swing on the ball with this it'll still go sideways.
I have a 10 degree loft on my driver and am hitting the ball to high. This therefore translates to a loss of 25-30yards, more than enough reason to go and buy one of these . Desperately clutching at straws I know, but I feel I need to justify it !!
Colin, a lot of that height is going to be down to the shaft and your swing as much as the loft on the club. Its the launch angle that controls height and you have to take all 3 variables into account. And don't forget - lower loft = more side spin = more hooks and slices. Even with these.
