i intended to have a custom fitting with callaway golf for a new driver and fairway wood at there fitting centre at chessington.
as i know i need a r flex shaft it would just be a case of picking out a suitable shaft.
looking on there web site i noticed r flex =stock shaft or aldila nv.
is this realy callaways idea of custom fitting a choice of two shafts?

I would be very surprised if that is the extent of options because some of the Cally clubs are aimed at people who should probably be using R flex shafts and there is no logical reason they should restrict the choice so much. I have been to that place and it is a pretty good set up with fitters who are trying hard to find something suitable for you.

But if you are not convinced, contact the centre and ask.

please check there uk website under custom options it gives a list of shafts but all are stiff or xstiff.

I did check their website and saw that. I still maintain that there will be more options available.

You should call and ask if you are unhappy about risking having a very limited choice.
