Calamity, Ball Avalanche

Went to Wycombe Heights the other day for come putting practice as I had about 45 minutes between customers, Just took the putter, shoes and a plastic bag with about a dozen Diablo balls.

After I finished I put everything on the back seat

I live on a huge hill and I have a very steep drive pointing straight downhill, (see where this is heading)

That evening, got home , opened the back door and of course the bag had shifted and a load of balls went bouncing down my drive, straight onto the road and down the hill.

managed to reclaim one, but the rest? goodness knows where they ended up, lost about 7 balls.

Anyone else had a calamity?

Took a 5 wood to a range with a few other clubs, was getting the driver reshafted that day but also wanted to practice other clubs. While walking to my bay I dropped something, when bending down I got the end of my 5wood shaft caught in the metal at the end of the bay and snapped it in two!

I then had to get that reshafted too! Worked out good as I hit it better all year after that

I know someone who took his driver out of his golf bag as it doesn't fit into his car boot while in the golf bag.

Yip, he put it against the car thereafter forgot to put it in the boot and promptly reversed his car out and over his driver!

Wish I'd been there to see it and his face.
