Anyway, the answer is, although there is no specific rule, the possibility of advice conflicts indicates "No, in equity".

I thought the thread was about a match that was delayed due to the opponent (young lad) caddying for visitors beforehand and he may be late,may be wrong though

I remember one that asked “ could a player compete in comp if he had caddied for another competitor that day”
It was asking if he had raked the bunkers , given advice etc would he be able to play.
