Bullseye

Well did take the old Bullseye out yesterday. It went ok, holed some nice putts and missed a few too. It was pretty good on the short putts and not so great on the long putts over the piece. Bit unforgiving but nice when struck correctly, guess we knew that already. Rest of game was a bit hit and miss in breezy and cold conditions.

Anyway played a five over 75 gross which I wasn't too enamoured with at the time (2 daft double bogeys killed me) but turns out CSS went up two so I was bang on my 4 handicap and won section 1 of the medal albeit with a pretty small field......ah who cares, a wins a win right........wooohooo! :D

Finished season on a lifetime low 3.7 so bring on 2010! ;)

Anyone else play this weekend? Good or bad or somewhere inbetween like me?

Played yesterday with Madandra and PsychoJoe down at Colville Park in Motherwell.

I scored the "least worst" but we all had a good day as the weather was grand. My highlight was a hole out from the bunker for birdie....which was swiftly countered by Joe talking me into a 3 putt from 2 feet on the next! They did say they were gonna gang up on me.

Much practice needed over the winter though.

I always get the "willies" when I see someone with a bullseye putter or the old Wilson 8813 putter in their bag as it means they can dam well putt!

Sweet dreams Craw :)

That's the one except not so shiny plus loads of wee nicks in it!
Not sure if its a keeper yet.

I have one, only put her out to grass at the start of the season.
I lovely the sound of a middled 10 footer that drops. Think she will be back out for winter rounds.
