Bubba Watson

Depending on conditions 360 for the "bombers" isn't out of the ordinary.
If I can hit 320 downwind, downhill and on a bone hard course then Bubba can do that with ease.

With that distance comes lots and lots of rough... He may be the longest on tour, but fairways found he is way down there...

I enjoy watching Bubba play, he is different and really enjoys working the fans as well.

and comes lots and lots of wedges shot from the ruff rather than 6 irons frmo fairway!
:D

lets face it ...its hardly rough they have

...they really need to grow the rough to stop ppl just booming it all over the place with no real fear of missing a fairway ,cos u can wedge out easily of almost any of what they call rough these days

What a finish!!

Vegas sticks it in the water to kill his chances....

Bubba up and down for birdie out of the bunker, so Phil Mick has to hole his 80 yard wedge for eagle. Phil decides to have the flag attended and almost holed it!!!

Bubba is now blubbering like a baby in the interviews.

Fantastic tournament.......

Fantastic tournament.......

the obligatory yells of "get in the hole" when PM hit would have done my head in :(

Biggest disappointment was Watney's back 9.....a bogie, an eagle and 7 pars after his 8 birdies on the front 9.

Really thought he was going to card a 59 but in the end didn't even break Tigers course record 62.
Still a fantastic round though and moved him 50 places up the field to tie for 6th.

Don't think i would want to attend the pin for some of my partners from 70 yards out. Might not be quick enough to get out of the way of the head high thin in time.

I assume PM was worried he would hit the stick on the full and go back into the water.

A bit harsh rickg, he lost his father to cancer in October.

Harsh indeed.

But on the subject, Since I've seen him play (as of last year), I've never warmed to the guy as he's always seemed like a miserable get....But back end of last year and so far this year I've warmed to him no end. Seems a right likeable guy! Great to see him win yesterday. Nice try by Phil Mickelson to try and slam dunk his third from 70yards out though! He was less than a foot away!
