Did you think that up yourself? He's only used to playing three rounds. Four rounds is for the big boys and real golf.

It doesn't really work though, it would make more sense if his 4th round was the poor one wouldn't it?My opinion which I am entitled to have on a golf forum. And yes I did think it myself - for use on an American sports radio show last night reviewing The Open.

How did he win the US Open last year then? He's only used to playing three rounds. Four rounds is for the big boys and real golf.

I'm not sure what's more embarrassing: repeating an inane 'joke' that has been floating around the internet incessantly for over 3 years and thinking it's still funny, or claiming to have thought it up yourself last night. My opinion which I am entitled to have on a golf forum. And yes I did think it myself - for use on an American sports radio show last night reviewing The Open.

Ah I've heard a few variations of it as well. No Biggie, made me smile. I can watch happy Gilmore again and again, still makes me laugh. It was the first few times but retelling the same joke over and over actually isnt funny.
Imagine if your kid told you the same joke every week.
would you still think its funny after the 20th time?
I doubt it
