Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I'm working in a village in deepest darkest Lancashire, its still minus 2 and there's ice everywhere.
There's not a breath of wind but it's absolutely freezing!

Its cold and the ground is so hard.... I wana go play though!!!!

I will end up doing something though... maybe the range.

I played last Saturday, 7.45am tee off, and it was bloody cold!

-6 when I got out of the car. -3 When I got back in 3 hours later

Same again this weekend by the looks of it (snow clearing dependant)

I reckon there's more women on the forum than first thought (GM please note!). We played last Saturday at -5, get out there!

As Billy Connolly said "There's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing"

Hes full of crap! We played last week, -2 as we tee'd off and -4 as we finished.

Base Layer
Thermal vest over the top of base layer
Polo T Shirt
Proquip wool Jumper/wind stopper
nike all weather Trousers
Underarmour cold gear socks
Beanie Hat & Ping Mitts
Flash of Minestrone soup in the bag

Result - still folking freezing,

Not sure what else you can wear while still being able to walk

You must have bad circulation.

Under Armour
Polo
Windproof jumper
Waterproof jacket
Mittens - with hand warmers in
UA Leggings
Trousers
Waterproof trousers
socks
Beanie

Never felt cold all day except on my face.

You guys must really feel the cold!!

I just wore my regular summer gear, added a base layer and a fleece and a pair of thermal socks!

same as Gareth..............except that's to stay IN, triple it to venture over the door:rofl:

Minus 7 last saturday, temporary greens, and rubber tees. Was fine in my shorts and polo, but played like a donkey.

The snow will still be here this weekend, so I won't have to bother going out. I am junk on temps anyway. I had 26 points, and the winner had 46. I lost £3 to the winner too. Luckily he bought me a pint of Peroni for £3.80, so I was up 80p.

I hope this cold weather goes away before March, I have booked the whole month off and plan on playing almost everyday! I might suggest to my club that they install under soil heating on the entire course?

Our place is still closed and with the temperature not forecast to get above freezing I can't see it being open for the weekend. Looks like another range session for my fix - at least I can warm up in the Bistro (sounds posh doesn't it) with a decent meal and a beer afterwards.
