Practicing last night I hit about 40 balls, and when I walked out to get them came accross a shattered shaft in the rough.

It was a DUNLOP!

ha ha ha.

Now was this snapped by a crud golfer, or a crud golf club that snapped being used by a crud golfer!

You could always use it as a training aid. There are several drills usins a shaft to make sure you are on plane or to make sure you are turning and not swaying. Would be good to use it for something constructive. After all it probably never did the job it was designed for

what flex was it? Extra brittle.

Are you thinking of Maxfli Andy? They are owned by Taylormade I didn't think Dunlop were. Dunlop are owned by the same people as slazenger I think.
