Hi all just thought i would let you all know i broke my record a few week's back!

My record on my local course was 81 and i didnt think i would ever beat it but I DID!

I managed a 79 in bad condition's,i played very well!

Got to say though i must of missed about 8 birdie putt's how annoying!

Well done to both of you - great scoring. I think I set a record for my worst nine ever (three lost balls on the second). Just don't kow where the swing went - hit it OK last Saturday but played like a total beginner. I did manage one chip in to retain some sanity and a couple of decent putts

Well done you guys, both 79 and 81 are respectable scores.

Like Homer I too set a new record... for the most amount of blobs in one stableford round, 6

however... I might beat that next time out! :D

Well done. I was hoping to be part of a record breaking feat yesterday evening. I had 9 holes after work with our local pro. He's only 20 and plays sometimes on the EuroPro tour. I thought I was playing well as I was only 3 over after nine. He was 3 under and had made birdie on the last 4 consecutive holes. This was his previous record so I forced him to play the 10th where he failed to better his record.

Still it was lovely to watch.

Well done to you both for breaking your records. There is nothing better than beating your personal best!!!

What is the name of the pro you where playing with Sandyballs??

I think 6 blobs may be a world record?

I can assure you its not - I am sure Ive managed better than 6 in the past, but recently have seen that bettered twice. Played with a mate recently who had 2! points on the front nine. Tough course though.

Also played in a "best-three scoring" team stableford event. The team who came last managed the grand total of 38 points between the three of them. 120+ won.

Not wishing to get into a "mine's bigger than yours" but..

A few years ago I played in a company day at the Belfry. We played the Derby course as some of the players were very occasional.
One guy in my team scored no points at all. Zero. Not a sausage. Bugger all. He picked up after 10 on each hole. He didn't seem to mind......
