Broke 85!

Just to show how frustrating golf can be today I managed to reach the other end of the spectrum! After a posting last week about how everything that could go wrong had been with my recent golf it was all change today.

Played at Hoebridge in Woking and everything seemed to click. Driver went straight(ish), short game was good and managed to avoid any 3 putts in the entire round. Only 1 lost ball and no other penalties!

Went round in 84 and amassed 45 stableford points!

I would imagine I'll go out in the members roll up tomorrow morning and run out of balls by hole 6 however at least I have the rest of today to wallow in my victory!

I played Hoebridge last year and remember thinking I had never seen a golf course in such bad condition!! the tee boxes were a MESS... Hope its looking better now.

The course was in really good condition today from tee to green, certainly couldn't fault it on anything!
