Broke 80...get in!

Evening all...haven't had a chance to post till today.

I broke 80 on sunday...shot 77 at Chelsfield Lakes - easy course, but you still need to knock it in the hole. It's my best score to date and I am over the moon . Especially after nearly breaking 80 last week.

I play off 15, so nett 62 and a massive 45 points. Yes, a few shouts of bandit in the society and I was slightly embarrassed with such a score, but then found out I was second! Ha - got beat by a point

Cut? I have been slashed! put me off 10.6 now

Out again on Saturday....hope I can keep it going!

Good scoring but the trick is to keep it going especially off that new handicap. I can't believe there is a guy in your society with a bigger sombrero than you though

thanks everyone, it all feels good at the moment. Hope i can follow it up as you say.

As for Jose Maria Domingez-Fandango...playing off 19, he had the sombrero, six-shooters, dodgy tash and spurs...not sure where he parked his horse though. I fancy he's wanted all across the wild west too.

Having just broken 90 in a medal for the first time, i'm looking forward to breaking 80 in the coming months (PMA?)

Well done, breaking 80 is always a big hurdle no matter what course. Do it in medal play then you know you’re getting somewhere.
