Haha thanks for the responses guys. Monkton as they said shaft is dependant on swing speed not handicap, although to be honest I have never been fitted for a driver, the first decent one I had had a stiff shaft so have stuck with them. I find if I try a driver with a regular shaft it just feels too whippy.

It depends a lot on the shaft. There is a huge variation in what is called regular or stiff by any given manufacturer, so a 'stiff' shaft in one brand can be more whippy than a "regular" in another. Shafts made for certain clubs are often quite soft in flex. Simply believing you are a "stiff" or a "regular" is not a good idea.
