afternoon all

hope some of you have managed to get at least the odd game in recently despite all the rubbish weather

Hopefully you've all seen in the mag and online that we have launched the search for Britain's Best Putter in association with Odyssey

It's a bit like a golfing X factor but without all the crying and dancing dogs... or is that Britain's Got Talent? I get confused.

Basically we're looking to find Britain's Boss of the Moss and it could be you if your club or society is involved

All the details of how clubs (or societies) can host qualifying event are here...

If your club isn't already signed up then you might want to have a word with your pro and or secretary and get them aboard the fun bus.

There are some great prizes up for grabs at every stage of the event and the winner of the grand final will be jetting off for a dream golf trip to Las Colinas in Spain

It's completely free and should throw up some really fun events - I know the putting contest at one of my clubs, Royal North Devon, is one of the most eagerly awaited events in the club calendar with the climax usually being played out at night time illuminated by car head lights as people park round the putting green!

As part of the search for Britain's Best Putter we have got filmed a collection of great putting tips together from Odyssey/Callaway Tour Pros and also Odyssey ambassador and one GM Top 25 coach, Steve North

check them out here and get rolling that rock!

good luck!
