Because every idiot is panic buying its left the normal people with no fuel.
I genuinely needed fuel so i went to a fuel station and all they have left was bloomin super unleased! 24 litres for £40!!!! Doesnt help the scooby is a bloomin gas guzler glad i only use it at weekends for golf and shopping. But what about the normal working folk who genuinly cant afford super unleaded but got no choice as some stupid people have all filled up now when in reality a strike wouldnt happen for at least a week!

Some guy filled his car up then proceeded to fill up a couple cans needless to say me being me i made no comment to him ;)

Being a Subaru, you should really be running it on super unleaded anyway. Finely tuned engine and all that.

But yes, bloody panic buyers! The strike can't happen for another 10 days due to conciliation and the 1 week notice for strike action. Bleed the pumps dry now and then when there is no deliveries. The pumps stay empty.

I saw an old fart about 80 fill up with £80 worth of fuel...he will never use it...what is the point.

Don't forget the snow this weekend, then the drought...next thing the cows will be striking! Stock up on UHT!

These same muppets are also clearing shop shelves as someone has told them that the shops wont get any deliveries when fuel runs out. We are all doomed. God forbid they hear the world might end

i dont know whats wrong with people im not fussed about fuel im more angry over the pasty going up 20% lol

The news correspondents reporting live from fuel forecourts helps know-one, it just makes it worse.
Drove past couple of filling stations in my town today, just normal trade but on twitter our local papers are reporting them being very busy with queue's. Dose of nonsense.
Spoke to the tanker driver on Tuesday delivering to my place, he reckoned there's no danger of there depot running dry or any affect on our supply chain. Just aswell becausr I order 50,000 ltrs a month!

Dont get me started on theese pricks, picked up a new car for the boy this evening as usual the bloody 2 bit garage left no sodding petrol in the thing, got to one garage only effing diesel, then the light came on,got to another just, and they had all bloody pumps covered, but saw a guy explained i was on fumes (and fuming)
and luckily he let me have ennough just to get me home,

To be fair the q from Tesco was up to Ord roondaboot at one stage.

Total joke,if I run oot it'll be a day at home for me unless the local bus company run past my work.......sod that,i'll be cheaper filling up.:whoo:

just drove back from Woburn down the A5 and every garage was chocka, quite a few had no diesel signs up.

if the forcourts run out I can't work so keep panic buying folks :)

I filled up on budget day, from flat empty as usual. Bloke in front 'beat the budget' by topping up £15. Knob.

I will need diesel tomorrow. About £100 worth. It will bug men if I have to queue with people topping up. Idiots.

Last fuel strike one of the women I work with was trying to find somewhere to top up in case she ran short. She fills up once every 6 weeks, and had only run it for 4 days. She could walk to work easily.

Was the same around here all day - every forecourt chokka with cars.
Still got over half a tank but that won't last me past Monday. If I see an emptyish garage tomorrow or over the weekend I'm diving in - regardless of the cost.

I hear there was a full blown fist-fight in a queue in Essex today - all because someone pushed in front of someone else....

God help us if there really is a panic one day.

If there was no panic buying everyone would be fine, it's panic buying that causes the shortage!?! I am filling up tomorrow as I do at the end of every month as I drive around 40 miles a day for work, last me around 2 weeks, there better be some left for me!

I am considering NOT going to see my wife this weekend due to the shortage of fuel at the pumps...

Yes there is a shortage but its not made by strikes, its been made by hysteria!

Two petrol stations in Watford are closed, and the other two I drove past had queues of about 50 cars. Just filled up in north London, at 1.49 a litre. Expensive, but I needed to fill up, so there you go.

Which ever politician sparked this panic buying should resign.

haha brilliant, nothing has happened over here thankfully. not that anything has over there yet mind you!

as for the super/normal unleaded stuff, if its not needed then no it isnt any better.

totally dependant on the ecu and even then its a half truth.
