Blister on thumb

I keep on getting a blister on my right thumb. ANy ideas what's causing this? I'm right handed so my gloves not on that hand. It came up after about four holes tonight!

I think you are gripping the club TOO TIGHT.

If your thumb rubbed the grip gently the friction is minimal however a tight grip increases the friction and heat on the digit and this causes the blister.

You could try taping the finger. This is quite common among tour players and tennis players.
