Ive been looking at new TVs today,my LG is about 10 yrs old so a bit dated now.Looking at a new telly.. the Samsung ultra UE55KS7000 looks impressive. Its the bottom of their top end ultra TVs. Still costing 1K which is a lot of quids.
The old telly still works, but struggles to work with the Virgin TiVO box and you need a few restarts before you can get the TV to play. takes a min or 2 of discomfort. I am wondering if i can live with it rather than shell out a grand.
secondly, what to do with the old telly if we get a new one ..

I'm not really clued up with technology but can't believe how cheap they are now.
My lad was telling me that he is after a ps4 pro to go with his LG 4K telly he got from PC world. Basically reduced from £1050 to £600, less 10% more through a pals discount card. It a 55" job. The same telly is at Argos for the same price, plus if you get an Argos card, owt you buy over £300 you can get 12 months interest free.

On this thread or elsewhere?
Not looking to get the soundbar as i have a Yamaha that i got from Richer Sound (highly recommended).. not sure why you would need a Blue Ray these days, so just looking for the telly right now. Right now PC World doing a price match with RC so about £999... bloody expensive
Currys have knocked 20 quid off it today.. lol depends how geeky you are, this one is pretty good spec still and 200 quid cheaper..
