Bought a new bag on tuesday from Clubhouse golf, great price and paid for 2 day delivery, you know what's coming next, no bag yet. states on their website about submitting an enquiry and they'll respond within two hours, aye right. That's two emails i've sent now and no response, they don't have a phone number you can contact them on unless you're buying something. i think i've been more than patient. Now perhaps i've just been unlucky with delivery, but surely they shouldn't be saying 'we'll respond within two hours' if they've no intention of doing so. Pheeeew rant over, but still no golf bag. Clubhouse golf, go sit in the naughty corner.

They have 2 numbers you can call them on, they have the 08 number and if you have a quick look, they have an 0161 number so you don't pay for the call if you have free minutes on a mobile.

the 08 number is at the top of every page you see on their site. the 0161 number is on this page

They are usually spot on getting in touch, but the 2 hour response is usually only during midweek daytimes. If you call them I expect they will apologise and put it right. Best to get in touch by telephone when they give you the option before slating any company, especially when slating them about not having a telephone number which they obviously have.

I'd also check your postcode against those on the delivery and tracking info page, as you may not get the postage you think you get. All down to small print my friend

Let us know how you get on dopey :D

I'd appreciate it if you'd give it to me H, the number listed is for sales only. Just assumed the gear was sent from a warehouse and that's why no number was listed.

Clubhouse seem to have a habit of advertising goods they don't have. They did that to me as well but more than made up for it by giving me a very decent discount on the new model. They won't rip you off and will sort you out so just relax even although I can appreciate how frustrating it is.

S. nice one;), but i.ve already called the number on the website and as stated it give you options but only for sales, it states that to track you order go to 'track my order', you can't actually get to speak to anyone, but thanks for the encouraging reply, ;)

Cheers Craw, you're right of course, just me being impatient, not wanting to slate the company just wanting my bag, but if they've not got it that's fine also, just let me know.;)

I just dialled the number on the website. Got straight through to someone, explained the problem and a proquip belt arrived within a few days FOC with some tees and ball markers

Did you get the multi options? what one did you take? Begining to think it's me and i'm missing something ( apart from a brain, before someone says it) I was at work Thurs and Fri, so perhaps didn't give it 100% attention.

So unless I'm reading this wrong:

- you ordered on Tuesday
- paid for two day delivery
- item not arrived on Saturday and now complaining?

Ok you know Saturday isn't a standard delivery day for a courier right? And just because you paid for it on Tuesday doesn't mean it shipped on Tuesday. Seems to like a complaint about nothing. If your bag isn't here by the middle of next week then by all means I'd be upset.

Are you serious HH? You buy and pay for something on Tuesday with two day delivery and you've not to expect it for a week? Beer talking i assume, get real man, thats seven days, and no i wasn't aware that Saturday is not included for delivery, but taking the weekend out of the equation that's at least 5 or 6 days according to you. Not going to get into an arguement about just feel a bit let down., but thanks for your opinion mate.

I am serious and in no way arguing. I'm saying it would be the middle of next week before I'd start a complaint thread on a public forum bashing a company for something that is at best a day late. But it's your thread, your decision etc.

Saturday is always an extra payment for a courier company (not for Royal Mail) and you paid for a two day delivery service (i.e two days from when they send it out), not two days delivered to you from date of ordering.

Keep calm......

For what its worth I have udes them probably 10+ times and cannot fault their service.

Im sure it will get sorted and they will make amends.

Order Tuesday. Pay for two day delivery. Dispatch Wednesday should be there by Friday or am I lost again?

I would also be a little annoyed but then this isn't a guaranteed service. Problem more than likely lies with DPD who, like other couriers, prioritise next day and allow standard service schedules to slip as there is no penalty to them for that. If it was vital that it arrived for a deadline I'd have stumped up the extra £1.04 for a next day guaranteed service. If it wasn't there by Monday then I'd start to feel truly vexed.

Thanks for that PB, was a bit taken aback by Happy Hackers response, like yourself i suspect it's the courier but hopefully get it confirmed today that Clubhouse golf have dispatched the bag.

Just a wee update gents,
Got through to the Manchester store (thanks Hobbit), bag was dispatched Wednesday, so it's enroute and now it's snowing so panic over. Thanks Clubhouse Golf. perhaps the missus is right, perhaps i am impatient.:o
