Birdie, Bogie.... OR ..... Par, Par

Which is better, preferable.... or does it not matter?

Since I can refer to the fact I recall the best things more easily, I'd say bogey birdie.

For me, during the round I'd go par par for that stability feel but after the round I guess I'd like to see a 3 on the card.

Nothing better than beating par,or having the ability to beat par on any particular hole.

Not fussed as the score is the same. I'm not consistent enough to play par golf so there will be good holes and bad. As long as its as low I can play on the day I am happy

I know i get a greater sense of satisfaction looking down at my scorecard and seeing 6 pars in a row than 4 pars a birdie and a bogie - weird huh?

I like the 'sense' of being able to go low and make birdies (as I probably don't make enough) but the bogie really irritates me. I'd take 6 pars

The psychological boost of the birdie more than offsets the bogey for me. I make so many bogeys that they don't hurt me as much as birdies give me a boost, if you know what I mean.

Imagine the buzz from 9 birdies, even if they had a bogey after each one. Might be a little frustrating but... 9 birdies!!! I'll take the inconsistency of the 9 birds just for the buzz

what is wrong with scrambling a par? real confidence builder for the round to miss the first few greens and still walk away with pars. love it

My lowest scores have come from how many bogeys I avoided not how many birdies I made

I should say par, par...but I like making birdies
