Best way to clean clubs ?

I use that hand wash/liquid soap that sits next to the kitchen sink, liberally onto the brush for each club rather than into the water. Then rinse and towel dry (I have a special towel for that though)

As an aside I believe clubs should be cleaned weekly (to appease the golfing gods if nothing else) and anyone who leaves them for weeks/months on end needs to take a look at themselves. I mean seriously, if they performed to an equivalent standard covered in a layer of dirt and with the grooves filled with crud then they'd be sold that way!

For a quick wash I use soapy warm water but every so often I'll steam clean them which really cleans out the grooves. Stream cleaning the grips brings them back like new.

Fairy liquid and warm water for me + scotch bright pad, sponge and tooth brush for those nooks and crannies

Generally after every round

Don't do anything to grips

Sonic cleaner.

Great for club heads with places you can't reach.

(not that I would play with HUGE GI clubs...)

often. :)

Lately been lacking in motivation do this..
However a fresh sink of hot water with lots of bubbles kindly run after tea by hid normally does the trick.
And of course a nice clean dish cloth :D

Hot soapy water, clean the cavity back of the clubs with a baby bottle brush, and the grooves on the face with a masters club cleaner,

Done my grips for then first time in 18months a few weeks back with boiling water, fairy liquid and a scotch brite pad, they honestly feel like new grips, would NEVER leave it this long again.

Oh and "Astonish" steel cleaner (from the £1 shop, or 99p at many places) works a treat.

Seems to add more shine and removes marks too.

I normally wait until I am playing in the rain again and give them a wipe on the long grass, a quick once over with a brush and a wipe on a dirty old towel.

I hate it when we have a dry spell, I end up having to play with dirty clubs........
