As the title states what is the best way to clean clubs and grips. If the faces look a bit dull can they be made shiny if so how ?

Warm-hot water and a touch of detergent.

Faces are often deliberately made 'dull' - to avoid reflection and (supposedly) more grip.

On the go I use a double sided brush that is made for purpose , cleaning the grooves of mud etc but every so often I clean them thoroughly with warm soapy water and a nail brush and let then dry naturally .

As for keeping them shiny , I wouldn't bother unless you are OCD about it.

Grips are done with hot soapy water and an equestrian type hard bristled brush then rinsed and towel dried. Faces done with same process.
Anyone got a trade secret to get rid of small pock type rust marks I the irons or is aluminium foil still the tool of choice?

Not directed at the OP but it always amazes me how often this question is asked. Surely a brush and some soapy water are the obvious answer?

to the guys suggesting soapy water and a brush,

did you get fitted for your soap type and brush?

I live in a hard water area, but have a water softener, will this impact the soap type i use?

With the brush, how long bristles should they have for my Rocketbladez? Also i have speed pockets and weird and wonderful gaps to clean? what should i used for this?!

My god, this is a huge minefield, i think I am out of my depth. will book in with my PGA pro i think...

I've been outsourcing my club cleaning of late, I take them to the old car wash where 6 or 7 nice Eastern European gents take a lot of care about cleaning and polishing them for me.
You can leave them to do it or they'll do it as you wait.
Great service and thoroughly recommended.
Apparently you can get your car done as well.

Don't forget to ensure your PCR is correctly rehearsed and practised

Ensure you stand in the correct place

And the use the aimpoint linear method when you are cleaning - possibly book a session with a psychologist to ensure you are mentally prepared to clean your clubs
