Looking to buy a gps but not will with a subscription . Read a few reviews all say they roughly the same . What i need to know is how quick do the makers either add new course or new course layout ie new bunkers once they have been requested . How good are there customer services and how quickly they answer your requests . was looking at the shotmiser g500 , golf buddy world platinum abd garmin approach g5 . any help would welcome

I think their is a second hand sonocaddie for sale on here. No subscription fees for uk courses. My course was not listed by sonocaddie.I dropped them an e-mail to say that I was looking to get one of their sonocaddies, but my course was not listed. They e-mailed me back and within ten days, they had it listed. Can't fault the unit or customer service :)

I have a shotmiser g500 which is very good. Courses are £5 each, but you get a credit of £500 to start with, which should cover most courses you want to play. No subs, and the back up service is excellent.
