I played a personal best round last night at Trent park in Enfield and shot a gross 6 over. Only been playing 6 months again after a 5 year break and my society plays me off 12 but my official handicap is 17.1 - which is nett -11 (major bandit territory).

Was absolutely chuffed with the round and the funny thing was I didn't putt or chip particularly well or really start concentrating til the last few holes. My previous best was 10 over when I played regularly in my teens and iv been hovering around 15 over a round. Needless to say very pleased.

Just wondered what everybody lowest nett score/stableford points tally has been?

I think the most points I've ever scored was 46. But I was off about 23 then.
The scores that have given me the most pleasure were my two consecutive rounds at Cooden a couple of years ago.
41 points morning, 41 points afternoon. Two rounds of 7 over par gross.
Couldn't do it now

My best is 87, which off my GG handicap, is a net 65. Played pretty nicely, but that 87 included a 9 on a par-5, which is very frustrating. Coach thinks I could easily break 80 this year, just need to keep putting the work in!

My best Stableford score was 36 playing off 19 at North Hants during the H4H weekend last year and my best round was at my home course, I put in an 82 as my third card to get my handicap.

Mine was just recently when playing in a challenge match with our Pro. 3 over gross!

However it was in 4BBB but I holed everything out. Immediately thought about going on the tour so placed a call to Chubby Chandler to get some representation sorted out.

But golf being golf...next day in the club medal I had a down to earth 26 over gross 96!! Needless to say Chubby never called me back and I never pushed it.

4BBB a gentler mind-set so probably doesn't really count. Best with a card in my hand is 7 over gross.

I can't remember scores from when i first started, but there were a few way below handicap. more recently was a 48 points in our roll up spring meet a couple of years ago off 7. Also had a level par round at Western Gailes off the back tee's in a club match off 9 that must have been at least 3/4 years ago.

all a distant memory the way I'm playing at the moment;)

I played in an Open at Hankley Common 3 days after my two 7 over par rounds.
I was pumped up, ready for action. I had arrived, and the whole world (well the other competitors at least) were going to see what a golfing god I had become.
9 points out and 12 back in saw me skulking for the car park
:o

Shot a 78 on a par 71 for a 7 over round, had previously shot an 82 there so would have been happy to beat that alone

I don't have a handicap so no idea what that translated to as gross/net score but id say I'm roughly of about 14ish

Net: Couple of net 63's as a kid (folks were very patient and kind over those thankfully - hcp secretary was a little less forgiving:D)
Gross: 65 (-5)
SB points: Not sure, think it was 44 in the dim and distant past

My best was just about 6 weeks ago a gross 83 , 13 over. Net 64
Included a record (for me) 9 pars

Unfortunately unable to play for at least a couple of months having disc problems
The Golfing Gods giveth and the Golfing Gods taketh away :(

Some astonishing tales of banditry in this thread. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

When I was about 13 or 14, I once shot 79 gross playing off 25 lol, needless to say I got massive cut to 9 iirc.

Early playing years, best was 69 round Seaham playing off 5.

Since I started playing again after my 16 year hiatus, my best competition scores are 76 from white tees & 75 from yellows. Both at Sand Moor Golf Club.

In a competition or were you just knocking it round??
Some shocking bandits here today eh! Haha.
Lowest scratch for me is +1, no idea on stableford as never really play it.
