im so happy right now, played 3 clubs and a putter comp i used 3hubrid, 7iron, 56* wedge
blobed a few holes on the front 9, but a cpl of full wedge shots to within 10ft of the flag helped me score 12 points
the last 5 holes is where i came alive with 13 points, but i should have had more,
14th par4 SI1 i double bogey'd for 2 points, full wedge shot left me about 12ft for 2 points which i sunk
the 15th par 3 i smoked my drive with my hybrid gentle draw on the shot, landed it on the green about 30ft away, left birdie putt short about 8ft, par putt lipped out and sunk 3rd for bogie 2 points
16th, i sliced hybrid,, second shot i left 140 yards out to the left, 7i just short of the green side bunker left, chipped over for 4 and 3 putted for 2 points,
17th par 3 plays at over 200yards from the whites, i smoked my drive with my hybrid right at the flag, came to a stop about 15ft infront of the cup, 2nd birdie chance and i wasnt leaving it short, left to right line, and it crept in for the birdie 2! for 4 points!
18th par4, i sliced my drive over the water onto the 1st's fairway, about 160yds to the front uphill so i put my 7iron back and hit a gentle fade to land my 2nd on the left middle of the green left me a 50ft putt for another birdie, had enough weight just wrong line, par putt lipped out and i sunk bogey for 3 points
finished the round with 29points and in 15th place, my best ever score and palcement in a comp, i feel more confident with my new putter too, even with the few 3putts, ima happy chappy right now and looking forward to sunday medal!
