Chuffed to bits. Went out late at Wyke Green after work (again). No one on the course and we got round in just over 3 hours. Hit 47 on the front nine and started with a par on the par 5 10th. Hit a monster 9 on a par 4 on the 12th but kept it together for a 48 on the back, making a lowest ever 95. Happy with it, but like always can't help but think of the stupid shots i left out there.
I made it my priority to minimize the penalty strokes i took and that helped a lot, only taking one for a lost ball. That and a bit more focus on the tee, hit a lot of fairways with the driver which kind of goes hand in hand with the penalty strokes thing.
