My recommendation would be to get fitted for a putter. Both that your refer to are heel/toe balanced - what if your stroke is better with a face balanced putter.
I haven't owned a Scotty but I have friends who swear by them. I've tried them and I have to say that IMO my YES Ashley and a Odyssey No5 are better putters (for me).
I have a scotty after using a Odyssey Sabretooth for a few months. Struggled with long puts the whole time with the sabretooth. The pro at Tain is a Titleist dealer and clears out his stock at the end of the season so got my scotty for £120, which was not much more than i payed for the Odyssey. When you are putting well the scotty is awsome you get such a great roll. I will be sticking with a scotty from now on.
This is my new weapon....best 60 euro iv every spent.....My putting has gotten much much better since i switched and its very similar to some scotty's at a fraction of their price..
