Best Push trolley

Another vote for PK twinline 3 here cracking trolley folds small and is robust, did like the look of the Z1 but could not get it at a very good price at the time and got a good deal on the PK.

tsk tsk, not particularly scientific there SB ;)

Actually it is very scientific
i can let go of my 4-wheel Sun Mountain at the top of the hill and it will work its way down even steep hils pretty straight and will still be upright. do that with most 3 wheelers and they tip over on the steeper slopes, and go off to the right or left on the shallower hills, so you have to hold on to them all the time. Whereas with teh 4 wheel you get to walk around on your own a lot.

The 4 wheel folds down much smaller than the S3 as the S3 has a fixed rear "axle" - i could get the SM MC 4 wheel and their cart bag into the back of a Pug306 but i coudlnt get the S3 in on its own

I had a Twinline 3, good a sturdy but I had issues with the break slipping. May just be me as others have had no such issues but it put me off it. Got a Clicgear as a present and was head and shoulders above the Twinline but it is pricey. Still have mine for emergencies but bought a Go-Kart and that replaced it. To be honest though, I have seen a few Stewart Z1s and that would be my choice now. May be deals available as the Z3 is out soon.

a vote for the Sun Mountain Microcart here. 4 wheels and ridiculously light and easy to push. Folds up very small as well. I got rid of an electric trolley to get one.

Have a clicgear 3.0.. can recommend it..
Pros: light, loads of space, stops easily on mounds without toppling over
Cons: New one will set u back by £125-135. Also, does not come with winter wheels or hedgehogs - so can get muddy. YET to improve my game :)

mine's improved mine! terrible back issues and the ergonomics permit me to walk square and true up hill and down dale.

I can't comment on the others but this one works for me.

Don't want to piggyback onto this post but have a question for the clicgear and Stewart owners. How good are they in the wind? I've a twinline 3 and it's great but has been blown over a couple of times. Don't get me wrong you can see two windfarms from my course, so it can get a bit blowy.

How small do these 3 wheelers fold down. I've been thinking of getting one, but boot space in the car, with clubs and an electric trolley that always travels with us is at a premium.

Has anyone got any pictures of one folded up in a boot? as it's hard to get a perspective from just a picture of the trolley from websites.

My TW3, the two large wheels come off and then it practically folds in half with the front wheel tucked up underneath. So you end up with a kinda triangle shaped cage. The bag holder pads fold back and the handle slides back in on itself. I get it snug in beside my bag and the wheels in a BM 320 coupe boot (which is not huge considering the size of the car overall).

this is going to depend on how heavy you load the bag, and the size of the bag .... I use both a carry bag and a trolley bag on mine though, and it's never blown over (clicgear).

it's fallen over on a slope when I was a little stupid, and I lost it once for 10 minutes when I left it in the middle of the fairway while looking for a friend's ball. Returned and it had gone. Eventually found 300 yds away burried in bushes and I now always put the brake on even when I think it's flat!

I have more room in the boot now with the 3 wheeler than with the 2, mainly because my old trolley i could not take the wheels off it.SN202759.jpg
