It'll be a tough tie and given that we have an awful record away from home in Europe and Lennon is in charge I don't see us going through.
Got to say I do laugh at some of the people who write off teams like Helsinki before the tie then scoff when we/teams from Scotland struggle.I listened to Radio Scotland as I drove home from work and the pundits dissed Helsinki.
We are playing a team that are half way through their season,have players every bit as talented as us and from a country the same size as us yet they diss them!!
Where does this arrogance and odd sense of entitlement come from?
Folk like that need to stop thinking we are just a step behind the EPL.....We are a million light years away from that!

I think your last sentence sums it up. There has been an inflated opinion that the brawl brothers would be top 6 finishers in the EPL from the outset.
I hope they manage to do something as I reckon its just a few steps too far for Well.

No easy games for Scottish teams in Europe nowadays. Motherwell are as good as out. Celtic should make it although the away goal might make things uncomfortable unless/until they score over there.
Will need a decent draw for the next round if they're going to make the CL proper.

Helsinki are no mugs if anything this tie is probably the equivalent of a draw just now. If Celtic score first over there which they are capable of then it might just be enough.

Cannot underestimate this. Makes a huge difference in my opinion. Is the 2nd leg two weeks away? If Celtic can get 2 or 3 full games under their belt they will be fine
Great result from us last night and one that leaves us with European Football up to Xmas whatever happens.
Shame Victor got red carded last night but good that we somehow managed to get seeded for the next round but all the teams available are capable of beating us so it will be tough.
I was working late last night so not sure how 'Well got on but they would,I would think,be out and Arabs are up against it tonight big time sadly.
Anyone any idea how The Rangers got on last night in Europe? I must say I am surprised they arranged a bounce game v East Fife on a Tuesday night before a European match.

Well done Celtic. I think they may do well this year.
Lennon always seems uptight and I think that transfers to his teams. He can relaxivou now and perhaps the team will start playing to thier proper level. He has a lot of good players but they don't seem to perform well.
