Belton Park, Grantham, Sunday 7th April 2 pm

The sun is shining and the gale force wind has dropped:) I'll be getting there around 1.30ish, look out for a lost sole with a lime green clickgear and black ping bag. Looking forward to it, see you tomorrow guys:)

Looks a cracking morning here in tatershire. I might play pretty poorly. Dinner party until 2 am. kids up at 6 and i am not even sure if I have a hangover coming or not. Hope the bacon butties at Spalding rugby club when I take the kids down this morning sort me out.

Massive thanks to Tyke, Captainron and Fragger for great company today. Good round with shot of the day going to Fragger who managed to broadside a deer with a thinned hybrid off the 17th tee.

Great course, great weather, great company, many thanks for the invite Greg thoroughly enjoyed it mate. Must agree Fragger trying to obtain some cheap venison was most definately the shot of the day:)
Saying that though i can now say that i have played with someone who can drive the ball 300 yards rather than just claiming they can, by eck Captainron can certainly hit a golf ball.

He hit a 7 iron off the tee to just behind my 3 wood

Think we will have to rename him CaptainIron.

First 300 yard drive I have witnessed, simply awesome, mind you he is about 8 ft tall

As for the Venison, just call me "Fragger The Deer Hunter" (glad it wasnt hurt, But I was ready to put it on my trolley and into the boot :)

Thanks Greg, Rick, & The Cap'n , a quality afternoons entertainment,

The infamous 'Bridgstone Deer' of Belton Park? She now has 'FRAG' stamped on her rump. Grade 'A' she aint anymore.

Had a great time lads. Course was in great nick too. Thanks for having us Greg

Actually the stamp would be GARF reversed, and I think she is now grade E6 :)

Yes the course was in really good condition, Greens were surprisingly fast,

Cheers Greg
