Going to Belek in about 10 days. Staying at the Kaya Palazzo hotel for a week. Need to get some courses booked. I'm planning to play 2, maybe three times. I've had some ideas from various people but I thought I'd make a more general question on here

Any insight is great, like for example are there any courses that will be burning off the fairways at this time? I've heard that's something that some of them do

The courses don't need to be the best of the best, just let me know what you've played and what you think. What's the best sort of time to play, how busy it'll get, that sort of thing

Also, if anyone has played the Kaya Palazzo course itself, that would also be great to hear about. Cheers!

Contact Bilyana or similar and ask as they will have direct contact with the courses and probably know the maintenance schedules.

Some courses might be over seeding in September and won't allow buggies, so if you want a buggy (possibly a good idea in September as it will likely be pretty hot) then be sure to do as Greig advises and check.

Since you're booking separately rather than in a package, expect to pay top dollar. You won't get a round anywhere for less than €100. Top courses will be north of €150. (And buggy hire will be around €50 on top of that). No idea what club hire might cost if you're not taking your own.

The Kaya course is fine, sort of middling in quality for the region. And since you're staying there you'll get a bit of discount on the green fee.

My personal favourite course is the Sultan.
Other top notch courses would the likes of the Carya and Montgomery.
The National is a bit up itself and I don't think it's especially great.

Bottom line is that there isn't a bad course in Belek.

another vote for Bilyana, those guys are big in belek golf and really looked after us earlier in the year. Be prepared for it being a 4-5 hr round as your coming into the peak season but all the courses are great
