Beau Desert Today

Just watched your drive on the 9th Rick. No wonder your rounds take so long, 37 seconds for one drive. Love the left foot action.

Funnily enough Ive also just watched that. I won't comment on the left foot :D

Beau Desert, what a great venue for a big meet next year...

Missed the hole in one at that par 4 by inches!!
To still have your memory at your age is very good.

Beau Desert looks a lovely course if a bit tight for me. Another forum meet sounds like an idea though. How about it Robin ?

Every time someone mentions Beau Desert and TimGolfy, I have to watch this video....cracks me up every time....he started with 5 blobs.....and yes, he did have a 371 yard on the 18th........what a guy..really miss him

Quality video that Rick, cant believe you still have it.
He was a good guy, nothing like his forum wind up merchant,i wonder if hes still playing.
Great idea for a return meet.

I've still got a photo of myself at Beau Desert as my screen saver. I Know, it's a bit sad.

Nearly drove that the first time round, landed to the right hand side of the bunker and bounced immediately to the left towards the next par 3 tee box, had it bounced forward I would have been on the green in 1, that would have been a first for me! I know its short but still a risk & reward to take on.

I'll start the enquiries ;)

Do you need handicap cert to play? Just over a mile away from where I live so an opportunity not to be missed!!

It wont be until next year now so plenty of time for you get obtain a handicap.

You don't tend to be asked for handicaps or certificates in these meets, most clubs simply ask and state that you need to be able to get around with a certain amount of ability. Its a tight tough track, what does your handicap in your sig refer to then because how can you come down only .2 and .1 and then 1 full shot if you are a Cat4?

Its not official it's from my society an because I won the last comp I had to take a full shot. I have asked numerous of times how they work it out but they said the site does it automatically. I have just recently purchased a programme to keep track of my scores and handicap and its currently around 24. I'm looking at joining a club so hopefully will be sorted by the time we play. I have only just learned all this catergory stuff... So apologies if I've not done it right.
