I've managed to get a calor gas bottle so I can use the Weber this weekend but seem to be missing something so I can connect the bottle to the BBQ.
Previous bottle was connected by clicking the regulator directly to bottle, but this doesn't seem possible now, so any suggestions as to what I need to source ?

did you get a red (propane) or a blue (butane) bottle?

Is this the type where the regulator is screwed on to the bottle? Most common with the red propane bottle.

This is the top that utilises the quick attach regulator




The screwed on is obvious but note if it a red cylinder it is a reverse thread.

It's a red propane cylinder, the top bit has the open / close valve and the side bit has a removable plug so something must insert there, but I don't know what.

You need a screw on gas regulater

Then you clamp your hose to the output side and fit the other end to you bbq

To use this bottle you need to change the regulator on the BBQ

You can get them with a handwheel if you do not have the right size spanner (long link but just search on propane regulator)
