Hi have just bought a golf trolley with battery. does anyone know if u can use a car battery charger to charge the golf trolley battery??

I would avoid charging with a car charger as the charging rate for a car battery is much higher than a golf or motorcycle battery. Most trolley batteries come with a dedicated charger and charge very slowly to keep the battery in top condition. Many dedicated golf trolley batteries are also constant charge, meaning it is constantly on charge when not in use.

A car battery charger will very likely work for the first few times but will eventually ruin the cells. My advice would be to research your battery type and buy a dedicated charger

Not sure but would advise against it. Who sold you a trolley and battery without a proper charger? Not on I would say.

Too many Amps,you need a dedicated charger for your trolley battery.Car charger will do the job,but will fry your battery after a few charge's.

Did you buy new or 2nd hand. I would have thought most would have come with a charger if you bought it new from AG or similar

It needs a slow, constant, trickle charge, so my answer is a definite no
