Hi
I have a Sg5 and find I can go about 4-5 rounds on one charge with no problem.

Now my friend has just got a Sg2.5 and is finding he needs to recharge after 27 holes.

I know its not the same item but it doesn't sound right to me, only 27 holes!!

Can someone here who has the 2.5 please tell me how many rounds you go before the need to recharge. Its a new one and he can take it back if its not holding the charge, chap in the shop told him to recharge after every round!!

Cheers

Del

I can get 2 rounds out of mine no problem. Probably 45 holes. Maybe he should try running the battery out and leaving it on charge for a day - might help. COuld be a dodgy battery - don't know if its under the warrenty as its often considered a consumable but if its fairly new he might have a case for a new one.

I can get 45 holes from my 2.5. Like imurg said, just run it right down and give it a good charge which does the trick

Used it this week and got 3 1/2 rounds out of it. It packed up on the 9th yesterday , I just wanted to see how far it could go. Very impressed tbh

I can get 36 out of my SC5 easily and when I did the Longest Day last year managed to get 67 holes before it died. We started at 4.20am and it lasted after being on continously until about 5.00pm

I can only get 36 holes out of mine before the battery indicator light shows the battery is getting low. Im sure mine would not last 4-5 rounds. I must use mine a lot more than you. How many times do you use yours during a round, do you check on every shot?

Surely the length of time it takes to play a round will dictate the number of holes the SkyCaddie lasts for. If it takes 3 hours to play 18 holes, it will last for more holes than if it takes 5 hours for a round, so the previous answers are irrelevant.

Mine lasted as I said above and one of the rounds was at Luton Hoo which 4 hours and 50 minutes , another took 3hr 25 mins , the 3rd took 3hr 20 mins. I usually tirn it on about 15 mins before playing. the half a round took 1hr 45 mins :p

You do the maths
