On other golf forums I always kept up to date with certain rolling threads. I notice that most of those rolling threads are on here to. One that I can't find is the 'bargains thread'. Being new, perhaps I can't find it yet. Is it here?

If not wondering why not. They tend to be very useful (and expensive) threads. In short, for those that maybe don't know them, people post on the thread when they find something that they consider a bargain. Many are out there and often missed by the majority. I love the community aspect where someone shares there bargain finds with the rest of us (before clearing the stock themselves :))

So.....have I missed it here?

They tend to run separately when people are alerted to bargains. This means that it's unlikely that people will miss them as they aren't muddled in a huge thread.

Most bargains I find are at county golf 😉

I bought something off them and get an email most days with them flogging bargain stuff.

Thanks for the info. It's not my experience that things like this get missed in a huge thread....given that bargains expire rather quickly and that most people only check the last several posts. After months or years the pages other than the last few are therefore irrelevant. I notice there are rolling threads here (as there are on most forums) and they tend to be popular, given the amount of posts/views. Once subscribed to a post you only check the last few etc.

Its just my opinion of course but I think a specific thread encourages more people to report bargain finds

I like the idea. If we kept the posts thanking people for the bargains in the "I bought today thread", there would be less clutter.

Sounds like a good idea (although potentially expensive!).

As a starter the Srixon AD333 Tours are currently £17.50 at Sports Direct, and you can briefly knock 10% off of that price using the code GOLF10, making them £15.75.

A few people seem to like the idea and as Garry says, keeps all the clutter in one place so I suggest somebody starts a thread.

Clubhouse Golf are doing some great deals for Masters
