BALLS

The pinnicle exception was actually a better price when it first came out. I think its a bit expensive these days compared with what I would expect to pay.

As for the Pinnacle Gold, they are a suprisingly good ball, not at all what Pinnacle used to be years ago. Yes the exception is better, but for the money why not.

Again they are not going to be a ProV1, but there again for Mr or Mrs average golfer would be more than good enough.

American Golf are selling 12 PRO VI's/V1X's stamped as 'PRACTICE' FOR £17.99. Same great feel at nearly half price!
All perfectly legal for comps, allegedly Titleist have stamped up all there existing stock of pre-2009 spec ball to shift old stock and not impact sales of the new models!

I hope this helps.

Tried the Srxion Z stars today "wow" normally use the URS but gave these ago, in my modest opinion there better than Pro V1s ,had an 80-10 net 70 in really winding condition these things just drilled thru the wind never seen a ball like it even when the hit the greens they danced like a sugar plumb fairy absolutely superb,.My advice give them ago. :) :)

I think if Srixon dropped the price to £25 it would convert many, many more people. Me, I shall be returning to the AD333's soon as the cabbage is growing and eating balls like no tomorrow.

I have a bit of a mixed bag at present (the lake gods have been demanding of late),

Srixon Soft, I like these especially on the greens, very soft off the putter

Pinnacle Gold (£10/15 in the pro-shop), not bad for driving but feel much harder in comparison to the Srixon off the putter, need a firmer stroke.

Srixon AD333 my next go-to balls. only ever used pick-ups before but now I have a couple of dozen . .

Nike Karma, total mystery, my son bought me a dozen, not yet used - anyone tried them?

I've also got an unused box of a dozen old-type Pro-V's, I'm waiting for my game to catch up

Just have a look in the rough while walking through it. I must have over 50 as new pro v 1s or pro v 1xs via this method, also countless decent callaways, nikes and srixons. Reckon I must have amassed over 300 or so in the last 18 months. The rubbish ones I put in the juniors bin.

We have a junior bin and I think its funny how the older kids dive in and pick all the titleist etc and leave the youngsters to play the pinnacles. A lot of our juniors though wouldn't be seen dead rummaging through a bin for 2nds

I like the Z star too but agree that the price is too high to justify a switch at the moment even though my game is off and I'm donating several balls per round at various points on different courses.

srixon ad333 and the srixon trispeed balls are both good all rounders... first being 2piece and 2nd being 3piece..
price softness and forgiveness are allround to my taste anyway.

Just missed out on 50 TriSpeeds for £17 + £7p+p last night :( Have seen 6 dozen AD333 new and boxed for £66 free p+p on Fleabay though, so might pick some up once paid.
