Ball flight laws

It is....

{face(var1) + path(var2) + spin(var3)} = shot shape

Var1 = Grip.
Var2 = Angle of attack, ball position, gay jumper.
Var3 = Loft, spin loft, center strike, gear effect, speed.

:thup:

Ah, ok. I'll send it back to you in the morning then . :)

Try this, http://thesandtrap.com/b/playing_tips/ball_flight_laws

If you scroll down there is a good section at the bottom called true ball flight laws

Clearly states that a push draw is a swing path that is in to out. with a club face that is close to that of the swing path

Ie a swing path is 6* in to out
With a club face that is 3* closed to that of the swing path

The bigger the difference, the big the draw, or visa versa

Thank you, that link is very interesting.

For anyone that still thinks initial direction is due to swing path, why doesn't the ball just bury itself into the ground when you hit down on it?

ive hit down on an 8 degree driver before. it has a dam good effort at this! it makes a weird noise then attempts to spin up then dive bombs after about 25 yards.

it gives you the same shocked feeling as a sh**k. :o
