Bag set up thoughts (again)

I'm currently messing about with my bag at the moment too. Have driver, 3w, 2-sw and a 52 as well. Options are a 1i and a 60. Thinking about taking the 3w out and putting the 1i in but not sure there is need for the 1 and 2 i

I have a strong rescue at 17.5 cranked to 16. The reason being I can use it instead of the 3 wood off the deck and still get the help from dodgy lies. I carry a pretty strong 3 wood for driving as my course is tight. My driver gets mostly used away.

I'm thinking of dropping either my 3 wood or my 5 wood for a 60 degree wedge, my 3 wood only gets used once or twice a round, the 5 wood is similar distance wise for my 21deg hybrid, so im thinking a 60degree wedge might be good for short shots into soft winter greens......

I do already have a PW (44) plus a 48,52,56 wedge set up though.

Firstly, I agree with dropping the 5 wood as the rescue covers that and is usually a bit more versatile. Have you thought about moving from a 56 to a 58. Mine has the sole ground so I can own it on normal ground but the bounce still works in sand?? My other thought is to get your yardages done on a monitor. That would give you a definitive set of metrics to work around.

I would add another driver.

7.5 degree closed face for the low, raking 350 yard drive and a 12 degree open face for the soft landing 250 yard cut shot.

Everything covered then

Exactly the same situation here.

I have an adjustable hybrid at 19, the only place I miss out is going for greens in two.

A 5 wood will help that, I will probably add one when I join a club again.

Other option is a lobbed but I agree with ole bobmac on the wedge front.

I find woods easier to hit than hybrids and hybrids easier than irons. I only have a 19* hybrid as I preferred it to the 7 wood due to dispersion.
