Bag recommendations

Depends on budget. For winter I'm considering the Sun Mountain H2NO. I've a Ping Hoofer which has been great but will leak like a teabag in the wet.

Got the H2NO carry and trolley bags. Whilst they are waterproof (as tested on Sunday!), they do not have the greatest carrying capacity so if you need that think carefully. Disappointing considering how good the MCB and previous carry bags were in every respect other than waterproofing; why they didn't just make a MCB H2NO I don't know.

Have looked at this one in the past, seems ideal but just wondering if it's too big as a carry bag. Sounds like a good option and a nice looking bag too

I don't find it too big, although when I packed ALL my gear into it on Friday given the temperamental weather, it was heavy I'll admit. Ended up taking my Lambswool sweater off as well and still managed to fit it in.

Ended up carrying brolley, full waterproofs, wind cheater, sweater, 14 clubs, drink and all the usual accessories. Well when I say I ended up carrying it, I did....to the pro shop and took up his offer of using one of their trolleys.

If you do decide to buy this bag, make sure you check out motocaddyuk on eBay, although they only seem to list stuff sparingly.

Is it simply a case of using the Velcro straps to lock the legs in place when using it on the trolley?

Have the Sun Mountain H2NO which sits perfectly on the Speed cart trolley and is ready to carry (very comfortably) if I'm feeling like that. It is supremely waterproof (I was drowned Saturday, everything in the bag was bone dry). The "cart friendly base" means it sits neatly into a trolley but not all models so do your research.

I can't fault it (enough room for what I bring anyway).
