Bag Dilema

How many pockets do you need..?
A few balls, a few tees, a couple of gloves, a drink, a jumpers a waterproof......what else is there?
The more pockets you have, the more crap you're going to fill it up with, the heavier it becomes and there's more chance you'll put your back out lifting it in and out of the car...
Too many people have so much unnecessary stuff in their bags....have a turnout. When was the blast time you needed half the stuff you have in there?

These days, I'm surprised that all bags aren't waterproof. I certainly wouldn't buy one that isn't. Regardless of the number of pockets

This

I have a H2NO and it has plenty of room for loads of stuff, far more than I need on a golf course even if I was to change fully on each 9!

2 full pockets for waterproof jacket & trousers, shower top, jumper and still loads of room for caps, hat, gloves and more....

2 small side pockets for personal items and afterwards to tees, pitch repair, marker etc...

1 large front pocket for balls, 1 middle front pocket for drink & food and 1 top front pocket for tees.

If I needed anymore pockets I'd be expecting to sleep out on the course for a few days!!

Fully waterproof, lightweight and all-in-all an excellent bag that allows me to change my clubs without worrying about a matching brand :smirk:

Having 'lost my wallet' after an in depth search of all the pockets over 20 mins (to the extent that I had searched the changing room and advised reception) before finally finding it....i have to Agree with your sentiment

another vote for waterproof here - I don't have one and am still faffing with a rain cover - aahhhhhhhh!

Thanks for all the input. I have now bought my new bag. Plumped for the Lightweight over the waterproof, as since I'm not a member of a club at present I'm mainly a fairweather golfer.
