So I'd pretty much decided on a new cart bag (Titleist Lightweight). But I have just spotted a deal on last year's Titleist Stadry bag, for £95, but this has less pockets, including crucially no insulated drinks pocket. So now I'm unsure which to go for. What do folks think is more important, waterproof or pockets?

Plenty of pockets are important to me but having spent the last few years faffing around with a rain cover on my current non-waterproof bag, I'd be looking for a bag that was waterproof and had enough pockets, even if it was going to cost more.

Another vote for waterproof here.

Since getting my Poerbug waterproof cart bag last year I will not consider buying anything other than waterproof stand or cart in future.

~ No faffing about with a cover when it rains
~ Dry grips.

I'm not being funny but do you really need advice on this?
What's more important to you?pockets or waterproof?

I'm not being funny, but if you feel I shouldn't be asking this question, feel free to ignore the thread.
Fair point.
But surely it's a personal thing.
Just buy what ever bag is best for you.

Moe Pockets or waterproof?? 🤔

I fancy a packet of crisps,should I go salt & vinegar or cheese & onion? 🤔

cheese and onion obviously (albeit i think you should also consider prawn cocktail)

I have the Sta dry carry bag which is really good for use in the winter. I used to have the Sta-dry cart bag but as you have already alluded to, lack of pockets and no drinks pocket where really annoying. I sold it and bought a second hand tour bag, which in itself will withstand a fair amount of rain before saturating.

I've gone from waterproof (H2NO) to non waterproof because I wanted mor pockets.

My thinking was "I'll be glad of the extra pockets every game, or glad of the waterproofing for 10% of my games".

The only bag I saw with a decent number of pockets was the H2NO Elite, but still not as many as the bag I ended up buying.

How many pockets do you need..?
A few balls, a few tees, a couple of gloves, a drink, a jumpers a waterproof......what else is there?
The more pockets you have, the more crap you're going to fill it up with, the heavier it becomes and there's more chance you'll put your back out lifting it in and out of the car...
Too many people have so much unnecessary stuff in their bags....have a turnout. When was the blast time you needed half the stuff you have in there?

These days, I'm surprised that all bags aren't waterproof. I certainly wouldn't buy one that isn't. Regardless of the number of pockets
