Away to London Welsh on the first day with a possibility of Manu getting the munch Gavin Henson. Looking forward to it.

The real interesting thing was that the RFU had the playoff semis listed as being in Cape Town. This was subsequently removed but no denials that it would happen. Think someone has droppped a clanger here and released this info early as RFU have been trying to get some games played abroad for a couple of years.

Wasps v Harlequins looks the standout game. Might go to a few more Irish games this year as we get tickets at work and I know a few guys who go. Trouble is the drinking is an integral part. I'm not suppose to drink and I can't nurse a pint of the black stuff. Have one and it'll get messy. Willpower weak.

Recently we have not done well against the newly promoted teams. Have taken beatings from Leeds and exeter when they came up. Also we are bedding in 2 new wingers. Not impossible for Welsh to get a result. Just hope they sign henson and he gets clattered by a high speed tuillagi

Not liking your chances this year. Mid table at best. Really cannot wait for the season to start.

Mid table? You're optimistic!

Pretty disgusted with the way Redpath and the Sharks handled themselves, best of luck to them when they visit this season! Apparently we're suing them, which is nice.

The worst of it all is that it leaves us starting from scratch...again. Had things continued as they were, with the signings we've bought in, I'd have liked our chances this year as Redpath did a good job building and gelling the squad over the last couple of seasons...which was all in vein, it turns out!

I'll be watching this season with no expectation at all so anything other than relegation will be a blessing! Winning the local rivalries would be nice too. Small victories and all that.

London Welsh supporters must be gutted. They fight to get promoted and end up having to drive 2 hours to Oxford for home games. I can't belive they couldn't have done a deal with Brentford FC or AFC Wimbeldon to ground share.

True - I supose at least if London Scottish ever get promoted there's a ready made ground share at a lower divsion Glasgow team with plenty of ground capacity.:ears:

First game away at Exeter and then home to Saracens.... At at another ground that isn't anywhere near where the team are actually based... At least it's only 5 minutes from work though :-)

I'm hoping to come up for our game against Stale on 12th April (I assume it'll be on the Friday night). A colleague from there and I have agreed to host each other at our home games.

I'm very optimistic and looking forward to our season this year. We've brought in some very good new signings, Billy 32, Ben Morgan, Jimmy Cowen plus others as well as Nigel Davies and a larger list of backroom staff.

But then again I felt the same this time last year.
