Avatars again

I'm trying to change mine and the damn thing won't let me!!

I've gone down the whole Photobucket route - that's how I got one on in the first place. I choose a new picture, re-size it and tick the right boxes etc etc and all it does is re-sizr the old picture. I've even deleted the old picture from PB and the PC and it still comes back.

I know I'm a bit of a technophobe but this is really racking me off.

Well he's 8 and probably knows more than me but I can't get him off the playstation for long enough!

What seems to work is to delete your existing avatar, then wait till the next day and put your new one in and it works. I have done it twice now. I think GM must reboot their server or something similar overnight and the old image gets removed from the memory allowing a new one to get uploaded.
