Autumn leaves!

It is going to be carnage at ours today. There are four holes where you can hardly see any fairway due to the amount of leaves on them. It looks as though we are waiting for the wind to clear them which might take a while as we seem to have used up our quota of that all through the summer.

Oh dear, and then in summer, the darn grass keeps growing; course maintenance is just hell.

Totally agree. The trees this year look glorious. Leaves are an issue at my place on some holes though!

Hahaha yes Delc I'm sure this thread will go down well:lol: I think we need to offset the risk of losing more balls by making the holes bigger in Autumn

Just make the leaves see through so you can still see your ball through them

Our place is full of trees, although since the greenkeepers all installed multi fuel burners at home and a chainsaw acquired there are less, BUT, the head greenkeeper has said they won't remove all leaves until they have all fallen as there is no point!!!!!!!!, and he plays golf at ours !!!!!!!

Hardly any on our course at the moment but not that many trees - so that's hardly surprising!?!?!

The course I was looking at joining are having a right nightmare with them; so much so that I am actually having second thoughts about changing club in the new year if I'm being honest.

That's in June not Oct our trees are all bear almost now.

Been warm here last few days I could swear my grass is growing again. Must remember to say to the wife to get it sorted over the weekend when am at the course. Will even leave her a enough fuel in a can so she can do the back garden aswell
